News from the Board
Greetings EOEE Fourth Day!!!
A new year begins, full of hope and optimism. There is an air of anticipation that the new year will provide each of us with new opportunities and accomplishments. God knows each of our futures. He knows the paths presented before us. His path adjoins ours. He will journey beside us, taking each step with us.
2026 will present each of us with opportunities to renew ourselves as Christian Disciples. Renewing Christian Disciples and Strengthening Our Local Churches is our WHY. This is WHY we exist as a Community. This is WHY we exist as Christians.
EOEE wants to partner with our local churches.
EOEE wants to renew our commitment to faith and church leadership.
EOEE wants to facilitate ongoing growth in our Christian lives.
EOEE exists for you to live out your 4th Days as growing disciples, serving in your local churches and communities.
As the Community Lay Leader, I serve the Board of Trustees and all the Community. The Board of Trustees, in each of their unique roles and responsibilities, serve the Weekend Lay Leaders and their team members. The Team members serve the Pilgrims. The Pilgrims serve their home churches. The churches serve to transform the world.
Let’s follow Christ as a Community. To serve as He did. And love as He loved.
My challenge to the East Ohio Emmanuel Emmaus Community in 2026 is to enhance our walk with Christ, grow as disciples, welcome every opportunity to serve, and be bold in spreading the Good News.
May God bless you in the year to come,
Decolores!
