Greetings EOEE 4th Day,
I trust that each one of you has taken time to soak in the many blessings of an Ohio summer. Enjoy the sunshine, the warm weather, the opportunity to ride a bike, take a walk in one of our many parks, swim in the warm waters of our pools and lakes. What a great time.
One of the other great perks of summer is gathering with friends and family. I look forward to our 3rd Annual Praise party on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The fun starts at 3:00 PM and lasts until 7:00 PM. It is going to be held at Jackson North Park located at 7660 Fulton Rd. NW Massillon, Ohio 44646.
Our Post-Walk Committee has done a fantastic job of arranging for a great selection of food. We will even have a visit from The Frosty Gator Ice Cream Mobile Concession Stand. There will be an abundance of eating, music, singing and fellowship. I look forward to seeing you there.
Another aspect of mid-summer is that the teams for our fall walks will soon begin their team meetings. Tom Huggins and Stacy Ickes are completing their team rosters for Walk 108. Their journey as Walk Weekend Lay Leaders now kicks into high gear.
If you know someone that could see their discipleship walk, be enhanced by completing the 72 hour Walk to Emmaus Weekend, consider becoming their sponsor. We will have a sponsorship training before our September Gathering.
Let’s fellowship together, break bread together, worship together, sing together, and bring others into our East Ohio Emmanuel Emmaus community.
